Bombay Bhel Chikki (90g)

The Bombay Bhel came into being out of sheer experimentation. The thought seed in terms of how the product looks was an inspiration drawn from western Chocolate slabs. While we all have eaten Chikki in only its sweet and nutty form, our partners thought why not shake that notion up a little bit.

Inspired by all our favourite ‘snacks, our Bombay Bhel Chikki is a fun sweet and savoury Chikki Bar that has potato chips, sev, chakli, salli, gathia, peanuts and a unique Bombay Sweet Shop spice mix for that lingering sour and spicy flavour. It took our team numerous attempts to get the proportions right of each ingredient. Yes, there can be something as too much chips!

Once the jaggery melts, all the measured out ingredients are quickly tossed into the kadhai and mixed thoroughly. While it is still hot, it is rolled out, cut and drizzled with some sev for that finishing touch and transferred to these festive boxes! Bombay Bhel Chikki is made fresh every day at the Sweet Shop!
